For Richard and I, life in lockdown has been quite challenging. We are both very social people so not being allowed to meet up with friends and family for such a long period of time really took its toll on us mentally.
Also, not being able to work was extremely hard, especially financially. We had both dealt with a lot of personal issues during quarantine also. We have tried to take the time off to relax and take a step back and reevaluate what’s important in life. We both agreed that
Push-Back - the queer party we run a few times a year at Cobalt Studios in Ouseburn - is our main focus for the future. We used all of our time off to really brainstorm and try to make it even better than it is now. We have been doing our research, finding loads more amazing artists, both local and from all around the world that we can support and invite to perform at our night. It’s also been really lovely to get to spend so much time together.
